Sahiwal Cow, native to Punjab's Amritsar and Ferozpur districts as well as Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district. The average milk production of this cow breed is 2325 kg, mainly ranging between 1600 and 2750 kg. Mainly used for dairy production, this cow is a breed of Zebu cattle. In all zebu cattle, this breed produces the most milk. Following this breed in the Zebu family are Red Sindhi and Butana.
